My brand new custom configured MacBook Pro has been shipped by Apple and should be with me before the 21st May.

Look out for pictures and unboxing!!

…Michael McIntyre.

I have finally decided that my old white MacBook is in need of a upgrade. So i decided to invest in one of the brand new (March 2010) MacBook Pro with a 15inch high resolution screen.

I will be posting a review and maybe an un-boxing video when it comes in the post at around about the 21st May. So keep your eyes peeled and keep checking my blog.

So as the English Literature coursework deadline draws nearer, I have decided to get my arse into gear and finish it. At the time of writing this (11:11PM on 22/04/10) I have a whopping 552 words out of a possible 1500. I would be further ahead in terms of handing in if I actually enjoyed reading the text. Jane Eyre by Charlotte Brontë was good, something I enjoyed reading but the partner text, Wide Sargasso Sea by Jean Rhys has to be the most boring book I have ever read (my opinion only).

This was just a quick status update, I am going to continue to the early hours until I have completed my draft to a sufficient standard!

Because of this…

So we have a rather attention seeking volcano on our hands and it sure got our attention. Almost 3 days worth of complete British airspace closure and complete chaos for British travellers weather in the UK or not.

On Wednesday evening last week we were going to book some tickets to fly to Lanzarote for a weeks holiday in the Canary Islands, I am so glad we never now! It would have been such a rush on Wednesday night to get all the bags packed, documents together, sorting out who would look after the dog. Then  we would have work up on the Thursday morning only to be disappointed with the news of the UK airspace been closed.

We have friends in stuck in Lanzarote who were due to come home last Thursday, they had a flight booked for Monday which has been cancelled too. How long will this go on for? Only time will tell!

So as my driving test looms at the end of next week, I was you tubing some of the manoeuvres that have to be done on the test, just so I can get them spot on! Some of these videos bellow are exactly what not to do on your test, plus they are extremely funny!

It’s coming up to the end of the easter holidays. Having had lots of time to sleep, revise, and enjoy the weather, I have come out of the holiday somewhat refreshed and surprisingly ready to go back to college.

I have a really busy next week, here is a list starting from sunday:

  • Sunday – Volunteering at the hospital and then work.
  • Monday – College then work
  • Tuesday – College (english coursework deadline) then work
  • Wednesday – Imperial College Open Day
  • Thursday – College then some relaxation in between homework and perhaps a driving lesson.
  • Friday – Driving Test (fingers crossed that ill pass)
  • Saturday – Some relaxation

To top things off, I have a very long to-do list to complete with revision tasks and homework:

Over the past few weeks I have been requesting to be sent 2011 undergraduate medicine prospectuses, this week the prospectuses started arriving in the post (along with all the other boring mail I get).

I will be carefully reading trough the prospectuses that I get over the coming weeks and I will be posting my thoughts on here, so keep checking back!

Well it’s that time of year again, the time of year when you are about half way trough the school year and coursework deadlines are looming… Again!

So I have my easter holidays planned, I will be typing my English Coursework essays ready for a coursework session in the second week of the holidays and revising for the exams I have in May/June. I have 750 words commentary to write on a piece I have wrote based on The Picture of Dorian Grey, plus I have 1500 words to write on Jayne Eyre and Wide Sargasso Sea. Not only do I have coursework to write, I also have 6 exams to revise for. So at this point it looks as if i will have no easter holiday!

For a limited time only… “Ask me anything”

Good questions will be posted in a later blog post.
