February 2010 Archives

A few weeks ago I applied to go to an Imperial College London open day in April 2010, earlier this week I received a conformation letter saying that I had been accepted onto the open day! I look forward to going to the open day in London as this will be my first university open day and should be very interesting.

Welcome to the new section to my website, In this section you can follow my progress trough the application process into UK medical schools. With just over 8 months before my application has to be sent off to UCAS, there are huge amounts of things that I need to do to prepare myself for this next life hurdle before the 2011 application process has even started!

I will be posting to this section of the website regularly with information, thoughts and updates that maybe of interest to people who read my blog. With that in mind check back regularly to see what this journey has in store for me!

I was on Facebook earlier today and I noticed the name of this group which made me laugh:

The funny thing is that if you disregard that the world had actually ended the sale would most probably be still going on because it seems that the DFS sale is always on and never ends!

Another thing is that I was listening to the radio today on the way to work and every other advert ended with the phrase “Just off junction 9 of the M6 and follow the signs to Wednesbury”, Is it me or is every place that you here on the radio in Wednesbury?

It’s finally half-term after 6 weeks that seemed like 6 months but the work doesn’t stop in the holidays, I still have a list of things to work trough before I can sit back and have a proper break! Heres a little task list:

  1. Finish reading Picture of Dorian Gray
  2. Plan for English Coursework on Dorian Gray
  3. Start English coursework on Dorian Gray
  4. Psychology Homework
  5. Biology revision/notes on 10 pages
  6. Read more of Jayne Eyre
  7. Chemistry notes

After all of that I can relax but that’s in-between going to work and sleeping of course!
