So it’s been almost a year that I have been on twitter, so I thought I would have a look and do some analytics. I have found out some interesting things.
Tweet Timeline – Jan ’09 to Nov ’09

- I sent out a total of 638 tweets which is an average of 3 per day.
- The decline in tweets from the month of May was due to GCSE exams.
- The rise seen in November is due to ‘getting back into the school routine’
Tweet Density

- Tweets were the most dense on average between 12 Noon and 1am.
- On average the most tweet dense days were Saturday & Sunday with Friday following close behind.
Tweet Cloud

- With 18.75% (69 tweets) my most tweeted word was bed. Closely followed by School (61 tweets) with 9.56%
- My 5 top words were (in alphabetical order): bed, today, school, tomorrow, need.
- I had 5 twooshes!
Hope you enjoyed my twitter analytics. Make your own using tweetstats.com.

Spotify is a relatively new piece of software that allows users to listen to almost any track/album legally and either for free or for a small fee.
The free version of the program has short advertisements after a certain amount of songs but the paid version that will cost you £120 per year has no advertisements what so ever.
Just simply search for a track and hit enter, its that simple!

About two weeks a go I stumbled across a fantastic website which allows UK users to watch 30 TV channels on the internet. Its called TVCatchup.com.
This service is free but only available to residents of the UK. This service currently allows users to watch 30 free-to-view channels which is likely to increase in the future. The picture and sound quality is decent and users can watch the TV in full screen mode which is ideal if your watching on your laptop when your out and about or on an external monitor which you want to use as a TV.
TVCatchup iPhone Website

There is a website that has been specially designed for the iPhone that allows you to watch TVCatchup on the go on your iPhone. iPhone.TVCatchup.com works both on 3G and Wi-Fi networks.
Although you are not currently able to watch all 30 channels on your iPhone, the mobile version of the website has all the most popular TV channels available for you to watch for FREE on your iPhone.
I’m back, its bigger and its better going to be better! After been ‘offline’ for a while (in geeky blogging terms) I’m going to start blogging again.
This is just a quick post as a page holder, just so I have something on the my website that is slightly more exciting and less patronising than the default wordpress ‘Hello world!’ blog post.
Check back over the next few weeks as when I find/have time I will start and continue to blog for the foreseeable future!
